  Otoy has announced the release of Octane 2022 Preview and BrigadeBench. introduces a new Photon Tracer Kernel for 1000x faster caustics, Arnold Standard Surface support, 3x faster particles, and more. For the first time, this release also includes Brigade and BrigadeBench, a real-time path tracing engine. MxTools has released CablePlacer , a new tool for 3ds Max 2013 and above for modelling cables based on splines. Features include the ability to save and load cable items to a library with thumbnails, and adjust their size, the ability to construct cable nodes in a variety of ways using several parameters, the ability to replace geometry with a cable node, the ability to extract a spline from the geometry, the ability to draw a shape in screen space or by conforming to a surface, and the ability to manipulate cables by adjusting their position, rotation, scale, and twist. 1. How to estimate the price of the project To get a quick estimate, you can use our Cost Calculator . Remember though, all projects are varied and very different depending on how complicated your files are. It’s only an approximation and for your reference only and it only works for animations. To get a more accurate estimate, we highly recommend running a test job with few typical frames using Incremental Step* For example: If you fill in 1 in the incremental step box , frame 0, 1,2,3,4,5 ,…etc will be rendered If you fill in 100 in the incremental step box , frame 0, 100,200 …etc will be rendered Besides, There are some different points you should keep in mind between SuperRendersFarm and Local Rendering On your local When you look at the frame render time on your local machine and see it takes 5 minutes for example, it might be different once you render the same frame here. SiNi Software 1.24 released

SiNi Software has announced the release of version 1.24 of its suite of tools and plugins for 3ds Max. The main improvement in this update is the addition of support for Redshift and Chaos’ V-Ray Scene (.vrscene) file format. The 3 plugins – Desipher, Scatter and SiClone – support standard Redshift rendering only in this release, with IPR promised soon. The Illumi HDRI wizard has been updated to include a new setup tab to allow users to add multiple file paths to HDRI libraries. The previews now include exposure settings to view library images more accurately. Illumi also now includes support for Redshift. This includes standard Redshift rendering and IPR. In addition, the plugins include full support for V-Ray 5.2 interactive rendering as well as supporting the V-Ray Scene file format to share assets with other applications that run V-Ray, including Chaos cloud rendering services and Chaos Vantage.
